From fundraising galas to volunteer mornings, every event is a chance to show up for the children and families in our community.
Join us for an elegant evening celebrating the families and youth we serve. Enjoy dinner, live music, and hear directly from the children whose lives have been changed by your support. All proceeds fund sibling placement and mentorship programs.
Help us sort, pack, and label school supply kits for over 300 children entering foster care this fall. No experience needed — just a willingness to show up. Lunch is provided for all volunteers.
Thinking about becoming a foster parent? This free orientation covers the licensing process, what to expect during placement, and how Hearth supports you every step of the way. Current foster families will share their stories.
Meet the youth you'll be mentoring this year. This relaxed breakfast is designed to break the ice between new mentors and the young people in our Transition-Age Youth program. Hearth staff will be on hand to guide introductions.
A free, family-friendly afternoon in the park. Connect with local service providers, enjoy food and lawn games, and learn how Hearth connects foster families with community resources. Children and pets welcome.
Help us wrap and tag holiday gifts for children in foster care across Multnomah County. We'll have music, hot cocoa, and plenty of tape. This is one of our most beloved annual traditions — come be part of it.
